1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Kiri Research Labs website (kiri.ng), its subdomains, or any applications published by Kiri Research Labs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

Kiri Research Labs provides:

• Open source software projects - Curated showcase of our research and development work
• Research logs - Technical reports and documentation synced from our GitHub repositories
• Browser-based developer tools - Client-side utilities that run entirely in your browser
• Applications - Apps we publish, such as KTV Player on Google Play, as direct downloads, and for desktop
• Kiri License - A paid option in our apps that removes ads and unlocks premium content (see section 3)

The browser tools process data locally. We do not store or see the data you put into them.

3. Kiri License and Subscriptions

A Kiri License is sold through Flutterwave's checkout on license.kiri.ng. We offer monthly, yearly, and one-time options.

• Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically at the same price until you cancel. You can cancel from the link in your receipt email or by emailing [email protected]. When you cancel you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, and no further charges are made.
• Your license is checked against our license service. If a charge is refunded or a payment is reversed, the license stops.
• Each purchase gives you a recovery ID. Keep it: it is how you restore your license on a new device. If you lose it, contact us with the address you purchased with and we can look it up.
• Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

4. Third-Party Content in Our Players

Our players play streams and channel lists that come from third parties. We do not host, own, or control that content, and we do not guarantee it is available, accurate, or lawful where you live.

You agree to only access content you are allowed to watch in your country. If you believe something reachable through our apps infringes your rights, email [email protected] with the details and we will look at it promptly.

5. Open Source License

Our software projects are open source. Each repository on GitHub carries its own license file, which governs that project. You are free to use, modify, and distribute the code under the license listed in the repository.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Use our tools or services for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use our services to distribute malware or malicious code
• Interfere with the operation of our website or applications

7. Intellectual Property

The Kiri Research Labs name, logo, and brand assets are proprietary. The content on this website (excluding open source code) is owned by Kiri Research Labs. Our open source code is licensed separately - see each repository for details.

8. Third-Party Links & Services

Our website and applications may link to third-party services (GitHub, Google Play, Flutterwave, CDNs, etc.). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of these third parties.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Tools are provided for general use and should not be relied upon for critical or production systems without independent verification.

10. Limitation of Liability

Kiri Research Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website, tools, or applications. Because our tools process data locally, we cannot be responsible for data loss or corruption resulting from their use.

11. Changes and Availability

We may update these terms as our services change. The current version is always on this page with its date at the top, and we may modify or discontinue parts of the service.
